Brewing

Brewing is a way to create different types of potions/exploding potions. To create potions/exploding potions you should add various ingredients to water bottles in the brewing stand.

The process of brewing

The basis for every potion is a water bottle. So the first step is to fill a glass bottle at a water source or using a filled cauldron. The next step is to place the water bottle to one of three lower slots of the brewing stand. The upper slot should be filled with basic ingredient to create a basic potion. This primary ingredient is usually a nether wart, which creates an awkward potion. This potion has no effects. Actually awkward potion is a basis for brewing of potions with effects. The next step is adding of some secondary ingredient into a basic potion to create a potion with working effects. Tertiary ingredient may be added to brewed potion to make the effect of it more intense or last longer. To create an exploding potion the player should add a Gunpowder at any stage of brewing. Each step of a process of brewing takes 20 seconds.

Secondary Ingredients

The following ingredients should be added to an Awkward Potion. If the player adds any of these ingredients to a water bottle, a Mundane Potion produces in the result.

Tertiary Ingredients

Adding of a tertiary ingredient makes the effect of potion more intense or last longer.

• Electrium (makes the potion's effect lasts longer)
• Glowstone Dust (makes the potion's effect more intense - increases the level of it)
• Gunpowder (turns potion to an exploding potion)
• Fermented Spider Eye (corrupts the potion)

Effect of Corruption

Adding of Fermented Spider Eye inverts a potion's effect or produces a potion with negative effect.

Exploding Potions

To make an exploding version of a potion the player should add a Gunpowder as an ingredient to the corresponding potion.
