Make sure that the animals are put into a cage or use a lead and leash them and tap on a fence to attach the lead to the fence and still holding animals. If you have tamed a dog/wolf you could make it sit by going near it and tapping the sit button if it is still not sitting, make sure that you are not holding food that you could feed to the dog/wolf because if you are holding food and going near it, you can only see the feed button.
